Job Summary:

Spinwell Global Limited is seeking a highly skilled Payroll and/or Pension Officer to join our team. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and pension-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To oversee the processing of payroll and pension-related tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  2. To provide exceptional customer service to employees and stakeholders, maintaining a high level of accountability and accuracy in all payroll-related activities.
  3. To hold responsibility for providing technical support and guidance to junior payroll staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  4. To identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our payroll operations.
  5. To maintain and improve business systems and processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  6. To supervise the accuracy and quality of payroll and pension processing, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  7. To support the training and onboarding of new team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  8. To handle advanced and complex payroll and pension calculations and issues, providing technical support and guidance as needed.

Requirements:

  1. Educated to A level or equivalent, or able to evidence ability at an equivalent level.
  2. Relevant HR, Management, business administration or financial qualification to NVQ Level 3/4, or able to evidence knowledge and understanding of relevant disciplines.
  3. Previous relevant work experience, preferably in a payroll or pension-related role.
  4. Experience of maintaining and improving business systems and processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
