Job Summary:
Spinwell Global Limited is seeking a highly skilled Payroll and/or Pension Officer to join our team. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and pension-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- To oversee the processing of payroll and pension-related tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- To provide exceptional customer service to employees and stakeholders, maintaining a high level of accountability and accuracy in all payroll-related activities.
- To hold responsibility for providing technical support and guidance to junior payroll staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- To identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our payroll operations.
- To maintain and improve business systems and processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- To supervise the accuracy and quality of payroll and pension processing, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- To support the training and onboarding of new team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- To handle advanced and complex payroll and pension calculations and issues, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
Requirements:
- Educated to A level or equivalent, or able to evidence ability at an equivalent level.
- Relevant HR, Management, business administration or financial qualification to NVQ Level 3/4, or able to evidence knowledge and understanding of relevant disciplines.
- Previous relevant work experience, preferably in a payroll or pension-related role.
- Experience of maintaining and improving business systems and processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
