Job Title: Data Governance Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team at the Highland Council. As a key member of our data management team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our Data Governance Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of the Data Governance Framework, incorporating data governance standards, data quality processes, records management, and compliance with data security standards, data protection legislation, and access to information legislation.
- Advise Council services on effective data management and assist with establishing the Council as a centre of excellence in data management.
- Advise Services on aspects of compliance with legislation and corporate policies.
Requirements:
• Educated to degree level in a numerate/business related subject, or equivalent experience in data management and ICT security.
