Family Solicitor Job Description

SKILLFRAME is seeking a highly skilled Family Solicitor to join our team in a busy office-based role. As a Family Solicitor, you will be responsible for conducting your own caseload and advising clients in various areas of Family Law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting casework in Family Law, including divorce, financial remedy orders, and co-habitee disputes
  • Advising clients on child arrangements, Schedule 1 applications, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements
  • Assisting in the Family Department and working under supervision
  • Managing emails and electronic diaries through Outlook and communicating effectively with clients and other parties
  • Prioritizing workload, following firm procedures, and maintaining good numeracy and written skills

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Family Law, with a minimum of one to three years' PQE
  • Good keyboard skills, ability to use Word and Excel, and audio digital dictation
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and conclude tasks efficiently and accurately
