Job Title: Family Law Solicitor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Law Solicitor to join our team at SKILLFRAME. As a Family Law Solicitor, you will be responsible for conducting your own caseload and advising clients in various areas of Family Law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting casework in Family Law, including divorce, financial remedy orders, co-habitee disputes, and child arrangements orders
  • Advising clients on pre- and post-nuptial agreements, co-habitation agreements, and parenting plans
  • Assisting in the Family Department and conducting your own caseload with supervision
  • Managing emails and electronic diary through Outlook and communicating with clients and other parties involved in the legal process
  • Prioritizing workload, following the firm's procedures, and having good numeracy and written skills

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Family Law, with a strong understanding of the relevant laws and procedures
  • Good keyboard skills, ability to use Word and Excel for document production, and audio digital dictation
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and conclude assigned tasks efficiently and accurately
  • Qualification as a Solicitor, with a minimum of 1-3 years of post-qualification experience
