We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as an Academic Cover Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students and contribute to the success of our school.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supervising classes of students working on pre-planned lessons for absent teachers
  • Providing guidance, support and classroom management expectations
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports as required
Salary and Benefits

This is a permanent, term-time only role with a pro rata salary of £20,090 to £26,715 per annum. We also offer a generous employment package, including a competitive pension scheme, flexible working options, generous holiday allowance, and career pathways.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A passion for supporting the teaching and learning of students
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Knowledge of secondary age curriculum and pedagogy
