Role Overview:

The Behavioural Support Specialist will be responsible for providing individualised support to students who require assistance with managing their behaviour and mental health.

This role involves working closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of psychological principles and theories, as well as experience working with young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one and group support to students with mental health needs and behaviour changes
  • Develop and implement individualised behaviour plans to support students
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to promote positive behaviour and academic achievement
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour
