We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our senior management team at NICE Events, a well-established corporate events company based in Thame.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful sales conversion within the events industry and experience within the corporate events sector, with some experience of event planning in their past.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with prospective clients.
- Cultivate growth and retention within existing accounts.
- Collaborate with the events team while also demonstrating the ability to work autonomously, effectively managing your time, especially during peak periods.
- Introduce innovative sales initiatives and strategies to enhance our team's performance.
- Generate monthly sales reports based on proactive sales efforts.
- Previous experience in sales and marketing or account management within the events industry.
- Team leadership.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Motivated to go the extra mile for clients and colleagues.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Event planning and management (preferred but not essential).
