Teaching Assistant for Students with Complex Needs

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at NextGen Teachers, working in a Special School in Leeds. As an Autism Education Assistant, you will support students with Autism and other complex needs, promoting inclusive education and providing individualized care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting teachers in developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Providing personal care and facilitating daily routines
- Engaging students in educational activities and promoting social skills development
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support
Requirements:
- A Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience working with students with Autism and other complex needs
- An Enhanced DBS or willingness to complete one
- Full-time availability
- Two professional references
- A Right to work in the UK
Salary: Approximately £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
