**Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant**

We are partnering with a school in Leeds to find a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with complex and multiple learning needs, as well as SEMH or autism.

The successful candidate will have experience working with students who require additional support, and be able to develop effective relationships with students, staff, and parents.

About the Role:

  • Provide individualised support to students, promoting their academic and personal development.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, supporting the development of engaging and inclusive teaching strategies.
  • Contribute to whole-school initiatives and projects, promoting student progress and achievement.
  • Support students with personal care needs, respecting their dignity and well-being at all times.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with students with special educational needs, particularly those with CMLN, SEMH, or autism.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A willingness to learn and develop new skills, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • A driving license is desirable for this role.
