Job Summary

We are seeking an Engineering Support Professional to join our VINCI Construction team. The successful candidate will provide technical support to our site teams, ensure the successful execution of construction works, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality projects.

Main Duties
  • Development of controlled pile schedules tailored to site needs.
  • Creation of fabrication drawings for temporary works and lifting points in cages.
  • Leadership, checking, and approval of fabrication drawings from suppliers.
  • Production of method drawings for cage installation and central bar installation.
  • Ensuring method drawings are understood by key personnel onsite.
  • Production of PTP and WTP drawings.
  • Liaison with designers, suppliers, and other stakeholders on engineering aspects.
  • Providing solutions to site teams, involving relevant personnel as needed.
  • Understanding site, design, and programme expectations.
  • Anticipation and addressing of potential technical challenges onsite.
  • Engagement with site teams for continuous improvement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience as a piling site engineer or equivalent.
  • AutoCAD skills are desired but not mandatory.
  • Piling design experience is also desirable.
  • Proficiency in Excel is required for efficiency.
  • TW management experience is preferred but not necessary.
  • Ability to read, understand, and implement drawings, sketches, and specifications.
  • Ability to recognise your knowledge and skill limitations and those of your colleagues.
  • Organisational skills to lead regular meetings with site teams.
  • Performance-driven attitude, focusing on results and behaviours.
