Job Opportunity: Care Navigator with Dispensary Skills
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to fill the role of Care Navigator at Martlesham Heath Surgery, serving the local community in Ipswich.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of dispensing principles, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality care navigation services, responding promptly and professionally to patient inquiries.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain medical records and ensure patient safety.
Martlesham Heath Surgery is a close-knit practice utilizing SystmOne clinical system and participating in Wolsey PCN, a collaborative effort among select GP practices in the area.
Job Requirements:This role involves coordinating with healthcare providers, preparing medical documentation, and supporting the practice in managing medical supplies and maintaining clinical rooms.
- Answer phone calls and manage inquiries, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to data protection regulations.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to obtain medical records and test results.
- Prepare accurate medical documentation for clinical staff.
- Support the practice in managing medical supplies and maintaining clinical rooms.
- Update and maintain patient information on NHS databases and/or practice management systems.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to access additional training and development programs.
Qualifications:A minimum of NVQ level 2 in Dispensing or equivalent qualification is required.
