Senior Sous Chef Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our team at Rhubarb London Events. As a key member of our culinary brigade, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional events and experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Chef in the planning and execution of events, ensuring high-quality food and exceptional service.
  • Lead a team of chefs in the preparation and presentation of dishes, maintaining the highest standards of culinary excellence.
  • Collaborate with the food development team to create innovative and delicious menus that exceed client expectations.
  • Ensure efficient kitchen operations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas, staying up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef in a similar role, with a strong background in event catering or luxury hospitality.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong culinary skills, with a passion for creativity and innovation in the kitchen.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor in fast-paced environments.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
