About the Role
The Manchester College is seeking a skilled Project Worker to join our Pupil Referral Unit at our Openshaw Campus. As a Project Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of curriculum and pastoral care of learners in under 16 education provision.
Key Responsibilities
- Support learners in overcoming emotional and behavioural barriers to learning, in partnership with Manchester Secondary Pupil Referral Unit.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective support strategies for learners.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of curriculum and pastoral care programs.
- Provide guidance and support to learners, addressing their individual needs and promoting their academic and personal growth.
Requirements
- Relevant Youth and Community Work qualification or equivalent.
- Relevant experience working in a youth-related environment.
- Significant experience of working with school-age learners within alternative education settings.
- Maths and English at Level 2 or equivalent would be desirable.
