Mind Charity is seeking a skilled Counselling Coordinator to join our team at WhereToTalk.

We are a BACP accredited service delivering bereavement counselling to adults in Newham. Our volunteer counselling placement model and paid clinical counselling staff work together to achieve positive recovery outcomes.

This role involves:

  1. Managing clinical counselling assessments and referrals
  2. Providing administrative support for our counselling services
  3. Overseeing duty management for therapists in accordance with safeguarding policies

Requirements:

  1. Counselling or psychotherapy qualification to Advanced Diploma level or above
  2. Accredited membership or registration with a recognised professional body
  3. Substantial experience of providing psychological interventions
  4. Ability to manage client risk and make onward referrals
