About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Counselling Coordinator to join our team at Change Grow Live. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of counselling interventions, working closely with volunteer and student counsellors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality counselling services, ensuring seamless coordination between teams.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of counsellors, providing guidance and support to ensure their work is monitored and effective.
  • Review referrals, conduct assessments, and manage client allocations to determine suitability for counselling.
  • Provide direct counselling services as part of your role, utilising various therapeutic approaches including CBT, TA, and Person-Centred approaches.
  • Engage in clinical supervision according to the BACP/UKCP ethical framework, promoting professional growth and accountability.
Salary and Benefits:

This full-time position comes with a competitive salary of £34,700.09 - £36,635.38 per annum, dependent on experience, plus 22.5 hours of annual leave and 25 days holiday, rising annually for the first five years.

Requirements:
  • A minimum Professional Level 4 (or above) Counselling Qualification, with four years of post-qualified experience.
  • Working towards a diploma in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision or equivalent that adheres to BACP ethical principles.
  • An excellent knowledge of various therapeutic approaches, including CBT, TA, and Person-Centred approaches.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to train counselling students and volunteers to support service users effectively.
