About the Role

Cygnet Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Cygnet Woking, a private mental health hospital providing a range of secure services for men and women.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to implement treatment plans and therapies for service users.
  • Provide support and assistance to qualified nurses in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Conduct safe observations of patients, sometimes on a 1:1 basis or with other staff, to ensure their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Play an active role in maintaining physical and mental wellbeing by providing individual or group work.
  • Maintain a clean and enjoyable environment for service users and staff.
  • Work within Safeguarding guidelines and undertake training in de-escalation and PMVA techniques.
