About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management Specialist to join our team at University of the Arts London. As a key member of our Digital & Technology department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain identity and access management solutions to ensure secure and seamless access to resources for staff and students.
  • Collaborate with various teams to develop and enforce identity-related policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Assess emerging technologies and determine how they can be used to improve the student and staff experience.
  • Provide direction and support to teams across the organisation to ensure a systems infrastructure that is fit for purpose.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in identity and access management, with a focus on designing and implementing solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Experience with identity and access management tools and platforms, including Open text Identity Manager, Open Text Access Manager, Microsoft Active Directory, and Entra ID.
  • In-depth knowledge of identity management standards and protocols, such as LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, including encryption, PKI, and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
