Strategic Estates Director

About the Role:
We're seeking a seasoned facilities management expert to lead the delivery of a customer-centric estates and facilities management service at Dixon Walter. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional to play a leading role in the future success of the University and its wider impact across the region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing estates and facilities management strategies across a diverse and technically complex portfolio, encompassing estate strategy development, space and property management, capital programme delivery, estates maintenance, facilities management, catering, accommodation management, and sport.
We are looking for an exceptional leader with a proven track record of delivering customer-focused estates and facilities services, possessing excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement estates and facilities management strategies across the University's diverse and technically complex portfolio.
- Lead the delivery of a customer-centric estates and facilities management service.
- Take strategic leadership responsibility for a broad portfolio spanning estate strategy development, space and property management, capital programme delivery, estates maintenance, facilities management, catering, accommodation management, and sport.
What You'll Need:
- Proven track record of developing and implementing estates and facilities management strategies across comparably large scale, diverse, and technically complex portfolios.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
