Job Title: Real Estate Project Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Real Estate Project Management team in Cambridge. You will be part of a dynamic and diverse team, working across sectors on a wide variety of projects on a rotational basis. Project Managers handle commissions of varying scale, value and complexity; from local community led initiatives to transnational projects with global resonance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Delivery: Manage the delivery of complex real estate projects, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards
- Client Interface: Act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards
- Strategic Advice: Advise at a strategic level at the project conception stage, including providing advice on the different approaches that can be adopted in order to successfully achieve the client's overall objectives
- Project Governance: Establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
- Quality, Safety, Health and Environment: Plan for and manage the ongoing quality, safety, health and environment issues
- Project Governance: Establish effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout project
- Project Planning: Project plan, including ensuring the production of the detailed project plan
- Performance Management: Monitor and apply performance management techniques, including the use of KPI's to improve project performance
- Change Control: Manage the change control process
- Project Finances: Monitor and advise upon project finances
- Reporting: Ensure the production of formal project progress and other reports
- Business Development: Support the marketing and business development activities, such as:
- Developing new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients
- Identifying and acting upon cross-selling opportunities
- Working with Associate Directors and Directors to construct bids for new work
- Attending formal client pitches with Assistant Directors and Directors
- Identifying and acting upon opportunities to improve project management products and services
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in relevant construction, real estate or project management discipline
- 1-5 years experience managing Real Estate projects, ideally in a consultancy environment
- Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally as required
- Excellent communication skills, in person and written
- Professional membership desirable, such as RICS, PMI, or CIOB
