Children's Nursery Deputy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at Nova Training. As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our nursery, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years.
Key Responsibilities:- Deputise for the Nursery Manager and take charge of the nursery when required.
- Lead a room and ensure the nursery environment is safe for children, staff, and others.
- Develop partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child's development.
- Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, at all times.
- Deliver an appropriate play-based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables children to make individual progress.
- Maintain good relationships with staff to support the welfare of the team.
- Ensure the nursery meets Ofsted requirements at all times.
- Undertake designated safeguarding lead roles as directed.
- Work with other professionals in the local area for the benefit of children and families.
- Understand and work to nursery policies and procedures, including how to deal with child protection issues appropriately.
