Deputy Nursery Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at Willing Care. As a key member of our nursery management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and providing exceptional care and education to our young children.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Nursery Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring the safety, care, and wellbeing of all children.
- Support and lead the staff team, providing mentoring and guidance to ensure the highest standards of childcare and education.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and programs that promote learning and development.
- Maintain effective communication with parents, staff, and external agencies to ensure a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Uphold and promote inclusive and diverse practices within the nursery, fostering a positive and respectful atmosphere for all.
- Assist in administrative tasks, such as record-keeping, staff scheduling, and budget management, to ensure the efficient operation of the nursery.
- Level 3 or above in Early Years qualification.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience in childcare or education.
- Solid knowledge of child development theories and a commitment to best practices in early childhood education.
- Outstanding communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong understanding of and dedication to diversity, equality, and inclusion in working with children and families.
