Residential Childcare Specialist

This Senior Childcare Practitioner role is based in the North East region and involves working with multiple children's homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing therapeutic services, educational support, and residential care to children with complex needs.
You will work closely with the Regional Managers to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that each child receives the best possible support to achieve their full potential. The role requires excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of the challenges faced by children with EBD and Mild Learning Difficulties.
A driving licence and fluency in English are essential requirements for this role, along with a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or a similar qualification. We estimate the salary for this position to be around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum. Benefits include a pension scheme, health and wellbeing initiatives, and a comprehensive induction program.
