Job Title:

Band 8a Registered Mental Health Nurse / Social Worker - CAMHS

Hourglass Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Band 8a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RNMH) or Social Worker to join the CAMHS West Team in St Albans. This is a full-time role, with some remote working available.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, develop care plans, and provide interventions for young people within the CAMHS service.
  2. Take a leadership role in coordinating care and collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality support for patients.
  3. Conduct risk assessments, develop safety plans, and ensure that care follows best practices and relevant guidelines.
  4. Engage in both face-to-face and remote working to maintain the highest standards of care.
Position Details:
  • Location: St Albans (Some remote working available)
  • Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 (Full-time, 37.60 per hour)
  • Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available
Requirements:
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RNMH) or Social Worker with advanced CAMHS experience
  • Leadership experience and the ability to work both on-site and remotely, depending on service needs
