We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ambulance Care Assistant to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our Safe Care Division, you will play a vital role in supporting the police and other professionals in transporting vulnerable service users to and from healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting service users with challenging behavior and/or mental health illnesses
  • Assisting with the safe conveyance of service users to and from places of safety
  • Working alongside the police and other professionals to transport service users between various locations
  • Liaising with hospital staff to ensure smooth transitions

Requirements:

  • Full manual UK driving licence
  • Committed to patient care and able to build rapport with patients
  • Effective communication skills and experience in emotional and difficult circumstances
  • Ability to problem solve and identify key changes in patients' behavior
