About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Ledger Clerk to join our team at Marshall Motor Group. As a Sales Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our sales ledger, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely posting of receipts and daily banking to the ledger
  • Review ledgers regularly to maintain clear records with accurate and valid notes
  • Liaise with internal customers and colleagues to identify invoicing information errors
  • Manage cheques and prepare them for G4S collection
  • Chase overdue invoices and payments via telephone and email
  • Conduct Experian credit checks for new customers to ensure eligibility for credit
  • Manage internal and external debt payment questions and enquiries promptly and accurately

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a high transactional volume environment
  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge of the Kerridge/Keyloop dealer management system is a distinct advantage
