This privately owned SME organisation is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Strategist to reinforce the Finance Function. As a key role, you will oversee all finance aspects with no team support.

The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in hands-on standalone finance roles, preferably in project-based organisations. Effective communication skills are essential for working closely with senior management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and presenting comprehensive financial and management reports
  • Maintaining ledgers and ensuring accurate financial accounts
  • Creating cash-flow forecasts and reconciling balance sheets
  • Sales Ledger/Purchase Ledger/Credit Control
  • WIP reports and Fixed assets management
  • VAT compliance

A successful candidate will be able to drive business growth through informed strategic decisions. Located in Cambridgeshire, this £9 million turnover organisation offers a competitive salary.

Estimated salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
