About the Role

Costello Medical is seeking an ambitious and proactive Accounts Apprentice to join its Finance team in the Cambridge office. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the company's global in-house Finance function. The role involves supporting sales and purchase ledger tasks, processing internal and recharged expenses, and administering petty cash.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting Sales Ledger: Prepare and send invoices, liaise with clients regarding payments, and monitor sales ledger tasks for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Supporting Purchase Ledger: Process supplier invoices, respond to payment enquiries, and ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Internal and Recharged Expenses: Process and reconcile internal and recharged expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Petty Cash Administration: Administer petty cash across multiple currencies, ensuring accurate and timely payment.

On-the-Job Training and Support: You will receive on-the-job training and support from experienced members of the Finance team, including those who have completed or are pursuing higher-level financial qualifications. This will enable you to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and fast-paced office environment.
