About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Therapy Manager for Community Care, you will play a key role in developing and delivering community-based services for individuals with complex neurological conditions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of community-based clients, working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support and interventions. You will also contribute to the development and evaluation of services within the designated area/team, ensuring that they meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and deliver community-based services for individuals with complex neurological conditions, working closely with other healthcare professionals.
  • To manage a defined caseload of community-based clients, providing specialist assessments, interventions, and support.
  • To contribute to the development and evaluation of services within the designated area/team, ensuring that they meet the needs of our clients.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current HCPC registration and relevant Professional Body Registration (RCOT).
  • Post-graduate experience in clinical specialty within the NHS.
  • Experience of supervising/managing/developing junior staff, rehabilitation assistants.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
