Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Neuro Enablement Specialist, you will work with clients who have complex neurological conditions, providing specialist assessments, interventions, and support to enable them to live independently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of community-based clients, working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will also provide leadership and supervision to junior staff, contributing to the development and evaluation of services within the designated area/team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage a defined caseload of community-based clients with complex neurological conditions, providing specialist assessments, interventions, and support.
  • To provide leadership and supervision to junior staff, contributing to their professional development and the overall success of the team.
  • To participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of services within the designated area/team, holding responsibility for defined projects.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current HCPC registration and relevant Professional Body Registration (RCOT).
  • Post-graduate experience in clinical specialty within the NHS.
  • Experience of supervising/managing/developing junior staff, rehabilitation assistants.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
