We are seeking an experienced and passionate Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Heathy House, a leading rehabilitation service dedicated to supporting individuals with complex mental health needs.

About the Role:

  • Provide high-quality OT interventions to promote recovery and independence.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualised care plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify strengths and challenges in self-care, productivity, and leisure.
  • Deliver group and one-to-one interventions that enhance daily living skills and encourage social inclusion.
  • Lead the development of OT pathways and contribute to service-wide improvements.
  • Occasionally travel to support our multisite services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload under the guidance of the Lead Occupational Therapist.
  • Develop, implement, and review personalised therapy goals with service users.
  • Promote community engagement and social participation through meaningful activities.
  • Mentor support staff and provide fieldwork placements for OT students.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

Requirements:

  • A recognised Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • At least 3 years of post-graduate experience, including a minimum of 2 years in mental health.

Schedule:

  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute break).
