Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Occupational Therapist to join our established Metabolic Bonetherapy team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and young people, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

About the Role

This part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work within our friendly and supportive integrated Metabolic Bone team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for the routine occupational therapy assessment and management of a delegated patient caseload that includes the assessment, treatment and management of children with metabolic bone disease and associated problems.

Main Responsibilities
  • To conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop individualised plans for children with metabolic bone disease and associated problems.
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • An understanding of paediatric orthopaedics and metabolic bone disease.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £25-35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
