We are committed to providing healthier futures for children and young people, and we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Becton Centre. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for delivering psychological assessments and therapy to children and young people, contributing to their psychological care and treatment.

About Our Team

Our team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust is dedicated to providing high-quality care to children and young people with complex mental health needs. We work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care that meets the unique needs of each individual.

The ideal candidate will have doctoral level training in clinical psychology and experience working with children and young people with psychological and mental health problems. You will be required to demonstrate further specialist training/experience through having received a minimum of 50 hours clinical supervision of working as a specialist clinical psychologist over a minimum of 18 months.

We offer a competitive salary of £45,839 - £93,520 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including a pension scheme and opportunities for professional development and continuing education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver psychological assessments and therapy to children and young people
  • Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team, including Psychiatry, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, and other therapeutic disciplines
  • Demonstrate further specialist training/experience through clinical supervision
