Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Teaching Assistant for Children with Special Needs, working with students who require additional support to access the curriculum. The successful candidate will provide individualized support, adapting to the unique needs and abilities of each student.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure the holistic development of students.
- Develop and implement IEPs, collaborating with educators and therapists to meet individual student needs.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social, academic, and life skills development.
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues, families, and caregivers, ensuring seamless support for students.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Education, Psychology, or related field (preferred but not essential).
- Previous experience working with children with SEN, demonstrating patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting diverse needs.
- Competitive salary: £30,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
