Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Headway Adolescent Resources. As a key member of our residential homes, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people with challenging behavior.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with young people to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to help young people manage their behavior and achieve their goals
  • Contribute to a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of young people
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, colleagues, and external partners
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Qualified to QCF level 3 in Children and Young People, or willing to work towards the qualification
  • Previous experience of working with young people with challenging behavior
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer experience to an intermediate level
  • Full manual driving license
