Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Headway Adolescent Resources. As a key member of our residential homes, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for young people with challenging behavior.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with young people to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to help young people achieve their goals
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of young people's progress
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with young people in a residential setting (desirable)
  • Qualification in Children and Young People (or willingness to work towards)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literacy and experience with record-keeping software
