We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Headway Adolescent Resources. As a key member of our residential home, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people with challenging behaviour.

About the Role:

  • Work with young people in a residential setting, providing individualized support and care.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, promoting their emotional and social well-being.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of personalized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for young people.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and supportive living environment.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people in a residential setting (desirable).
  • Qualified to QCF level in Children and Young People (or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer literacy and experience with record-keeping.
  • Full manual driving license.
