Team Leader Residential

Brook Street Social Care NMR is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our Residential Children's Home in Grantham. As a key member of our team, you will support the Home Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the home while providing high-quality care to the children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Home Manager in daily operations and administrative tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records for each child and ensure compliance with care plans.
  • Supervise and mentor residential support workers.
  • Provide direct care and support to children, ensuring their physical, social, and emotional needs are met.
  • Respond to safeguarding concerns and ensure the safety of all residents.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • A good general standard of education; willingness to work towards Level 3 Diploma in Children's & Young People's Workforce or Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
  • Previous experience in childcare or residential settings (at least one year).
  • A valid manual driving license is essential for transporting young people.
  • Commitment to working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
