About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Adult Care Team Leader to join our team at Hazel House, a specialist residential care facility for individuals with autism, complex needs, and learning disabilities.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the wellbeing and care of our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. You will also lead, train, and develop our support workers, promoting a skilled and knowledgeable team that delivers exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Chaperone residents to appointments and activities, completing relevant paperwork and undertaking household tasks as needed.
  • Administer medication, as required, and maintain accurate records.
  • Lead and train support workers, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the deputy manager to maintain a skilled and knowledgeable team, ensuring the best possible care for our residents.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care (Adults) or equivalent qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Previous experience in a similar setting, with a passion for making a difference in the lives of our residents.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
