About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Adult Care Team Leader to join our team at Hazel House, a specialist care provider for individuals with autism, complex needs, and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care and support to our occupants.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Chaperone occupants to appointments and activities, complete relevant paperwork, and undertake household tasks as required.
  • Administer medication and provide emotional support to occupants as needed.
  • Collaborate with the deputy manager to maintain a skilled and knowledgeable team, ensuring the best possible care for our occupants.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care (Adults) or equivalent qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Previous experience in a similar setting with a passion for making a difference in the lives of others.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Patience, resilience, and a calming presence.
About Hazel House

Hazel House is a renovated property adapted to meet the needs of our occupants. Our 4-bed site offers a large, enclosed garden, sensory corner, and communal areas, including a breakfast and kitchen area, dining room, and lounge.
