We're seeking a dynamic and compassionate professional to lead our human resources strategy and champion employee wellbeing as Head of HR and Wellbeing.

About the Role

This senior leadership position involves designing and implementing initiatives that drive performance, ensure employees feel valued, supported, and engaged, while promoting mental health, physical wellbeing, and work-life balance.

The successful candidate will have experience in companies with over 5,000 staff and multi-site experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for mental health and wellbeing.

Main Responsibilities
  • HR Strategy: Develop and execute policies and procedures aligned with business goals.
  • Wellbeing Initiatives: Create and manage programmes that promote mental health, physical wellbeing, and work-life balance.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive workplace culture, handling employee concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Leadership: Provide guidance to teams across sites, ensuring consistency and best practices.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Promote D&I initiatives that create a welcoming environment for all team members.
Requirements
  • Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • A background in companies with over 5,000 staff and multi-site experience (20+ sites).
  • Leadership skills: ability to inspire and lead with a people-first approach.
  • Wellbeing expertise: passion for mental health and wellbeing, with experience developing successful programmes.
  • Communication skills: excellent interpersonal skills with a talent for building strong relationships at all levels.
  • Adaptability: a proactive, flexible leader who thrives in a dynamic environment.
