Job Description

At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Manager to join our global sales organization. As a Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the biotech industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the biotech industry, leveraging your expertise and network to drive growth and revenue.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Foster and nurture strong relationships with a diverse range of customers, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver exceptional customer service and support.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution of sales strategies and initiatives, driving business results and growth.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to determine customer needs and preferences, analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective customers, negotiating and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Compliance and Governance: Strictly adhere to company policies and procedures in all sales activities, ensuring compliance and integrity in all business dealings.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the science industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong negotiation and persuasion abilities, highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Ambitious and self-motivated with a passion for achieving sales targets, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
