Chart Industries is a leading global manufacturer of highly engineered equipment servicing multiple applications in the clean energy and industrial gas markets. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Customer Service & Inside Sales Manager to join our growing European team.

This unique opportunity combines Customer Service Desk with Inside Sales Management, focusing on building and leading a team of 5-10 Customer Service Coordinators and Inside Sales Professionals. You will play a vital role in establishing and executing the strategy for Customer Service and Inside Sales performance within the region.

As part of this newly formed team, you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the development and implementation of our organizational structure.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures for expanding customer spend through remote sales initiatives, including calls, emails, and online engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Howden to enhance the customer experience and elevate service levels.
  • Support the development of our Aftermarket route to market by deploying effective market coverage and customer segmentation models.
  • Continuously assess sales effectiveness and capacity, identifying key performance indicators to drive improvement and focus.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by challenging existing processes and implementing innovative solutions.
Your Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience working with market, products, service offerings, and customer base in industrial process handling equipment.
  • Strong work ethic, interpersonal skills, and a customer-centric mindset.
  • High business acumen and commercial background with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience communicating confidently with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, prioritize competing deadlines, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team within matrix structures.
  • Fluent verbal and written English skills, as we are a global organization with English as our corporate language.
