About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join CV-Library as a Family Support Worker in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing early help and support to children, young people, and families.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to work in partnership with other practitioners, children, young people, and their families to identify and address problems before they escalate. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and working within the early help locality multi-disciplinary team to provide a timely response to the needs of children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Delivering evidence-based interventions to positively effect change that safeguards and promotes the welfare of children and young people.
  2. Completing assessments of children's needs to identify needs and inform intervention.
  3. Working in partnership with key statutory and non-statutory stakeholders to achieve good outcomes for children and families.
Requirements
  1. Able to identify issues that require escalation in line with Right Help Right Time and work within policies and procedures that promote and safeguard the welfare of families.
  2. Ability to effectively plan, chair meetings, and manage a diverse workload to ensure that professional standards are consistently met.
  3. Ability to analyse information to identify strengths and weaknesses and develop an appropriate support plan.
