About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation and Employment Specialist to join our team at The Growth Company. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering rehabilitation and employment training and education support to individuals and groups within our Activity Hub.

In this challenging yet rewarding position, you will be dual trained as a Support Worker and Activity Facilitator, providing advice, guidance, coaching, mentoring, and support to a caseload of participants via regular 1:1 meetings and group interventions as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify individual learning needs and create action plans to support their progression to education, training, and employment.
  • Plan training and other interventions for each participant, working closely with them to achieve their goals.
  • Develop strong relationships with participants, establishing a rapport and supportive relationship that encourages open communication and trust.
  • Enable participants to access and use information relevant to their needs, helping them make informed decisions about their future.
  • Record interventions and activities on the CRM system, ensuring accurate data is maintained and used to inform future decision-making.
About You
  • You have experience working with offenders or those disaffected and marginalized from mainstream services, with a strong understanding of the issues affecting rehabilitation and desistance from crime.
  • You possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, able to build rapport and establish trust with participants from diverse backgrounds.
  • You are able to work in a target-driven environment, with a focus on achieving successful outcomes for participants and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
