Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Anchor Hanover. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of food preparation and presentation, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality meals that meet their dietary needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the kitchen team and oversee food preparation, presentation, and service.
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse needs of our residents, including those with dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food hygiene and handling procedures.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with our nutrition team to develop and implement nutrition programs that promote healthy eating and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Intermediate or level 3 food hygiene certificate with Cater Craft or similar award.
  • Health and safety procedures, including COSHH and food safety standards.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of delivering high-quality food services.
  • Basic knowledge of dietary requirements for older people and the impact of food types on medication.
  • Safe use of kitchen equipment, including knives.
