About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Transport Policy Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our transport policy group, you will work on high-profile projects for the EU institutions, providing expertise on policy analysis, impact assessment, and evaluations.


Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and lead written content and technical analysis for reports
  • Contribute to proposal development for new projects
  • Engage with stakeholders through consultation activities
  • Lead project teams in delivering specific tasks or entire projects
  • Collaborate effectively as a team member on various projects
  • Provide senior-level expert quality assurance and technical review of project deliverables
  • Stay up-to-date with sector technology developments, trends, challenges, and regulations
  • Mentor and coach junior team members to enhance their skills

Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A first or upper second-class BSc (or Masters/PhD) degree
  • Previous consultancy experience, preferably with EU projects
  • Familiarity with the EU's Better Regulation Guidelines
  • Expertise in economic, environmental, and social impact analysis of EU legislation on transport issues
  • Knowledge of European climate and transport policies, such as those in the Fit for 55 package
