Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Audit Compliance Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality independent and objective file reviews to evaluate accountancy practices' compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and detailed file reviews to assess compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with our Product team to contribute to the technical, client, and competitor intelligence used to make product decisions.
  • Liaise with the Product Director and Managers to ensure that client needs are met and product solutions can be integrated with our Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of regulatory standards and changes in the field of external audit and financial reporting.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to accountancy practitioners on compliance matters.
Requirements
  • Professionally qualified to ACA standard or equivalent, with sufficient post-qualified experience to support the level of this role.
  • Excellent technical knowledge in the field of external audit and accounts and compliance regulation.
  • Ability to apply technical knowledge clearly and practically to a range of client firms and situations.
  • Experience of reviewing audit files or compliance work in practice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and above-average competency with the English Language.
  • A high degree of organisational and project management skills.
