Job Purpose, Tasks and Responsibilities

You will perform high-quality independent and objective file reviews to evaluate accountancy practices' compliance with regulatory standards.

You will work closely with our Product team, contributing to technical, client, and competitor intelligence used to make Product decisions, and liaising with the Product Director and Managers when updating or creating a product.

Essential and Desirable Capabilities

You will need:

  • Excellent technical knowledge in external audit and accounts and compliance regulation.
  • The ability to undertake a high degree of research to stay abreast of changing regulations.
  • Excellent commercial awareness of the UK accounting profession.
  • Professionally qualified to ACA standard or equivalent, with sufficient post-qualified experience to support the level of this role.
  • Ability to apply technical knowledge clearly and practically to a range of client firms and situations.
  • Experience of reviewing audit files or compliance work in practice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and above-average competency with the English Language.
  • A high degree of organisational and project management skills.
