Why do we want you?

You are a highly skilled professional with outstanding technical knowledge in external audit and financial reporting, and compliance regulation. You will be responsible for performing high-quality independent and objective file reviews to evaluate accountancy practices' compliance with regulatory standards.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Product team to contribute to the technical, client, and competitor intelligence used to make Product decisions. You will also liaise with the Product Director and Managers to ensure that client needs are met and product solutions can be integrated to our Sales and Marketing teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality independent and objective file reviews to evaluate accountancy practices' compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to the technical, client, and competitor intelligence used to make Product decisions.
  • Liaise with the Product Director and Managers to ensure that client needs are met and product solutions can be integrated to our Sales and Marketing teams.

What we're looking for:

  • Excellent technical knowledge in external audit and financial reporting, and compliance regulation.
  • Ability to undertake a high degree of research to stay abreast of changing regulations.
  • Excellent commercial awareness of the UK accounting profession.
  • Professionally qualified to ACA standard or equivalent, with sufficient post-qualified experience to support the level of this role.
  • Ability to apply technical knowledge clearly and practically to a range of client firms and situations.
  • Experience of reviewing audit files or compliance work in practice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and above-average competency with the English Language to take on complex writing assignments.
  • A high degree of organisational and project management skills.
