Job Purpose, Responsibilities, and Duties

In this remarkable role, you will be tasked with conducting high-quality, independent, and objective file assessments to determine the compliance of accountancy practices with regulatory standards.

You will collaborate closely with our Product team, contributing to the technical, client, and competitor insights that inform Product decisions. Additionally, you will engage with the Product Director and Managers to ensure that client requirements are met and that product solutions can be seamlessly integrated into our Sales and Marketing initiatives.

You will also need:

  • Comprehensive technical knowledge in external auditing and compliance regulations, with the ability to adapt to changes and translate this knowledge into practical written and verbal guidance tailored to the needs of accountancy practitioners.
  • A strong aptitude for conducting extensive research to remain informed about evolving regulations.
  • A solid understanding of the commercial landscape of the UK accounting profession.
  • Professional qualifications at the ACA level or equivalent, with sufficient post-qualification experience to support the demands of this role.
  • The capability to apply technical knowledge clearly and effectively across various client firms and scenarios.
  • Experience in reviewing audit files or conducting compliance work within a practice setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of proficiency in the English language to manage complex writing tasks. You must be able to engage effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
